New Farmhouse Style Pendant Lights

Things change quickly around here! Well when it comes to my decor anyway. Last week I showed you around for my Christmas Home Tour including my kitchen. I was at Homegoods over the weekend and I found the perfect farmhouse style pendant lights for our kitchen island. I feel like it was a Christmas miracle because they actually had 3 matching lights. No driving all over town or calling all the stores within a 50 mile radius. (I guess Christmas time isn’t prime time for changing out your island lights!) Oh and after I finished decorating for Christmas I realized that my kitchen ended up being a little sparse on the decor. I was trying to keep things simple but it was little too simple. So I spruced things up a bit. Pun intended!

Eek! I’m so excited about these pendants. I had been looking for something to replace the lights for some time. There wasn’t any thing wrong with the lights that were there, but they were pretty much builder basic and kind of style generic. I knew that I wanted to change them out to something that fit into my design style.

It really helped my husband out when I brought them home and told him I bought my own Christmas present! I also handed him some gold silverware that I had been looking for and told him to wrap it for me for Christmas. I can assure you by the look on his face that he had no idea I wanted gold silverware for Christmas. I can’t wait to show it to you, but I have to wait just a few more days!

I also added a fresh boxwood wreath on the range hood. Thanks to a stop at Trader Joe’s.

I only added one new item to my Christmas decor this year and it was a late addition actually. I received it after I had already photographed my Christmas Home Tour. But I’m in lovveee with it. It’s a green patina home for the holidays paper scroll and you can find it HERE.

I added evergreen garlands to the top of my cabinets last year but I opted out this year. Only because I’m still finding remnants of last year’s that fell into the cabinets. I’m keeping cleanup simple this year.

I decided to add a little touch of Christmas to my counter stools. These music sheet cones with glass glitter look perfect filled with some boxwood trimmings. I just snipped a few sprigs from the back of the boxwood wreath.

I hope you liked my new additions. I’m so excited about my new farmhouse style pendant lights. They make me happy:)

Of course, I’ve tried to find the exact pendants for you. But since they are from Homegoods they are probably a closeout or past season. But I found some that are really similar. Plus a few extras you might like for your home.
