I was going to show you a traditional furniture makeover today, you know the kind that I have painted and styled and lit to perfection. Then photographed from a million different angles, edited and watermarked. And then I walked in my garage and starting laughing. This is what I saw!
And this my friends is the reality of creating, rehabbing throwaway furniture and maintaining a retail space with all my creations and vintage finds.
The truth is, it gets messy!
I think this pretty well sums it up! Just so remember when you are looking at all those perfectly styled pictures on blogs, that this is probably the reality behind the scenes. It is at my house anyway!

Oddly, my hubby would rather keep the furniture in the house instead of the garage, so guess what? My HOUSE looks like that! I will have to show that wedding image to him so he can have a chuckle!
Your honesty is definitely refreshing. I read a lot of DIY blogs and they always make the work area look so tidy. I create a major mess when I paint or rehab furniture. My house is turned upside down for a few days (or weeks) until I am finished.
